Hello and welcome to my crafty blog!

The reason behind this blog is help me in my quest to be more creative, more often. I've always felt an affinity towards the visual arts, and while I've not demonstrated much pure talent in this area, I've definitely enjoyed trying new mediums, especially those that would fall into the category of crafts.

In the past year, I've really felt a pull to do more about my crafty ways - to take my love of art and DIY (instilled in me by both my creative and talented mother and my 'why pay someone to do it when I can do it myself?' father). So I've been trying to take more time to make things; to express myself with paper and paint (and other fun colourful things) on a more regular basis. And I'm hoping this blog will help with that. The plan is that I will post photos about my projects, and write about my ideas and my inspirations. And maybe I'll attract a few interested readers, who may or may not have the crafty bug themselves.
